Eighth global Conference of young parliamentarians

The annual IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians is a unique platform for young Members of Parliament to meet, exchange, learn and identify common and innovative strategies to advance youth empowerment. In 2022, no issue is more urgent and vital than action to curb climate change and global warming. The Eighth Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians will bring together young parliamentarians from around the world to coordinate parliamentary action to mitigate the impact of climate change and ensure that global warming does not exceed 1.5°C, in line with the Paris Agreement.

The Conference is open to the participation of young members of national parliaments. National parliaments are invited to send a delegation of up to four young parliamentarians (age limit 45) to participate in the Conference. Delegations should be composed of representatives of both sexes and the youngest members of parliament.
